Calm, welcoming therapy environment — The Healing Suite
About

This space was built with you in mind.

I work with people navigating the complicated intersection of mental health, identity, relationships, work, and the world around them. For clients who experience discrimination or marginalization because of their race, gender, sexual orientation, immigration status, body, or faith, those experiences aren't details we work around. They're part of the lens through which we understand everything else.

That includes people who spend their lives caring for others—nurses, therapists, counselors, social workers, educators, parents, caregivers, and anyone who has become the person everyone else relies on. Here, you're not a colleague. You're a client. And that distinction matters.

Your training, competence, or ability to keep functioning doesn't make you immune to burnout, trauma, or the slow weight of carrying more than your share.

What We Treat

You might not have a name for it yet.

Most people don't arrive at therapy with a diagnosis — they arrive with a feeling. Something is off. Something is heavy. Something has to change. These are some of the experiences we work with.

Trauma

PTSD · Complex Trauma · Childhood Trauma

You've been through things you haven't told anyone. Or things you've told yourself weren't that bad. The body keeps score even when the mind moves on.

Anxiety

Generalized Anxiety · Social Anxiety · Panic

Your mind won't stop running through everything that could go wrong. You're exhausted from anticipating, preparing, and holding it all together.

Depression

Major Depression · Persistent Depressive Disorder

It's not always sadness. Sometimes it's numbness. Going through the motions. Doing everything right and feeling nothing.

Family & Relationships

Family Systems · Relational Trauma · Communication

The people closest to you are also the ones who hurt you most — or who you keep hurting despite your best intentions. The patterns are exhausting.

ADHD & Neurodivergence

ADHD · Autism · Sensory Processing

You've spent your whole life masking, overcompensating, and wondering why everything feels harder for you than it seems to for everyone else.

Perfectionism

Maladaptive Perfectionism · High-Functioning Anxiety

You set the bar impossibly high and then punish yourself for not clearing it. The achievement never feels like enough. The rest never feels earned.

Life Transitions

Adjustment Disorder · Identity Shifts · Role Changes

Something changed — a job, a relationship, a city, a version of yourself — and you don't know who you are on the other side of it yet.

Religious Trauma

Spiritual Abuse · Faith Transitions · Deconstruction

You left — or you're leaving — and nobody around you understands what that costs. The grief is real even when the freedom is too.

Parenting

Parental Burnout · Intergenerational Trauma · Adjustment

You're raising humans while still figuring out your own wounds. You don't want to pass down what was passed to you — and you're not sure how to stop it.

Career & Education

Occupational Stress · Burnout · Imposter Syndrome

You worked hard to get here. And now that you're here, you're running on empty, questioning everything, and wondering if this is really what you wanted.

Services and Pricing

Individual Psychotherapy

$175 first session

$150 per session thereafter

One-on-one therapy for adults navigating burnout, trauma, relationship patterns, identity, and the weight of always being the one who holds it together. I work especially well with people of color, helping professionals, caregivers, and high achievers.

I work with what's presenting, and I work with what's underneath it. My approach is direct, trauma-informed, and grounded in the reality that your job, your culture, your relationships, and this political moment are all part of your story.

I won't just validate you. I'll challenge you. And I'll do it without judgment.

Ciara Pierce, MBA, LCSW

I built The Healing Suite because I kept seeing capable, caring people burn out quietly—people who were accustomed to holding everything together but didn't have a place where they could put some of that weight down.

That includes many of my clients who are people of color and helping professionals navigating the added weight of systems, identities, and workplaces that don't always support them.

I've been in this field for 14 years — social services, direct practice, corporate healthcare, and everything in between. I hold degrees in political science, Pan-African studies, social work, and business, all of which inform my practice. I'm trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and several other modalities. I look at the whole person—including your relationships, lifestyle, environment, identity, and the systems you're navigating. I know the clinical language, the workplace dynamics, and what it actually costs to be the strong one in every room.

What I do well is hear what isn't being said and locate the source of the issue fast. I'll ask the questions that make you see your patterns more clearly. I'll also probably make you laugh.

My clients often have it together on the outside. Internally, they may be burned out, stuck in relationships that drain them, disconnected from themselves, or simply unsure what needs to change. If you're tired of holding everything together and ready to understand what's underneath it, you're in the right place.

I'm licensed in Georgia, Louisiana, Washington DC, Florida, and South Carolina.
